Fairy Altered Book

5.5" x 8" 48 page Fairy Altered Art Journal, was part of my solo show at the opera house in Oshkosh Wisconsin in 2022. It has beautiful art work that I painted by hand on the book pages or collaged from my old paintings that I cut and glued onto pages. I also used prints and prints of my cards to incorporate into this book. My handmade paper was included inside of the book. And old lace was used to decorate edges. So much to look at, like one of my painted tea bags and to imagine, to dream. With places to write in or on. It is filled to the brim with my love for fairies and nature. Each page has been made to look older with watercolors and pencils. It has folds to place some items in. Beautiful enough to set on a stand on a table or shelf. It does have a gator mouth and ties with a black grosgrain ribbon. Cover is my handmade paper and all sorts of recycled beads decorate the spine.
Each page is signed.
This is one of my favorite books.
